報告摘要:
Recovering rockets from the seafloor would be of interest to Space X in determining how a landing may have failed but in order to do so the final resting location must be known. Here we designed an experiment to predict the final landing location to improve the efficiency of salvage operations. We created a model rocket and recorded the trajectory and final landing location as the model was dropped at 0, 30, 45, 60 and 90-degree angles in a towing tank at the University of New Orleans. The trajectory was exported from the recorded video file and plotted against a numerical simulation DROBS that solved the equations of motion at discrete time intervals. We will discuss our experimental results and how they are compared with the numerical simulation.

余小川博士目前是美國新奧爾良大學(University of New Orleans)應用海洋技術實驗室主任、研究員,船舶與輪機工程系助理教授🚵🏿♂️。他的研究興趣包括船舶與海洋結構物運動與響應預報,海洋工程墜物的研究🧛🏿♀️,各類浮式結構物總體性能,系泊與立管系統動力學研究🌮,海洋新能源(如風能等)以及智能材料在海洋工程中的應用研究等。目前,他正從事關於海上火箭回收⚔️、定位方面的研究。余博士曾在FloaTEC LLC, IntecSea, SBM Offshore等著名海洋工程公司擔任船舶工程師,高級船舶工程師,高級水動力/錨泊系統分析師等職🪺。他的主要教育經歷如下♟🐵:
