The university charter is the basic standard for the university to run its own school, carry out management and perform public functions according to law. In order to further consolidate the foundation position of the school in the school management activities and give full play to the leading role of the school charter, recently, the undergraduate and postgraduate grades of the College of Marine Science and Engineering carried out a series of Shanghai Maritime University Charter (hereinafter referred to as Charter) publicity and learning activities through the combination of late name, Tencent conference and other online and offline forms.
In the learning link, each grade counselor led the students to conduct an in-depth interpretation and serious discussion of the Charter, focusing on the school's history, school philosophy, development positioning and talent training objectives, internal governance structure, etc. Everyone said that through learning, the Constitution condensed thought, spirit, values and so on have a more in-depth understanding.
This charter learning activity not only enhances students' understanding and recognition of school history and school situation, but also enhances students' sense of belonging and collective honor. Next, the College will continue to follow the Charter as a guide, innovate learning forms, and create a strong atmosphere of learning the charter, knowing the charter, understanding the charter, and using the charter.
