On the afternoon of April 16, Listening to the Sea Liberal Arts Culture Salon (Phase I) was successfully held. The salon focuses on Shanghai style painting art, aiming to understand the intrinsic charm and value pursuit of Shanghai style culture through the carrier of painting art.
Mr. Song Wei, vice chairman of Shanghai Youth Art Photographers Association, Vice Chairman of Xuhui District Arts Federation and deputy director of Art Education Department of Shanghai Normal University, was the guest to share the artistic appreciation of the paintings of Shanghai painters and their friends. Through the analysis of classic works, Mr. Song sorted out the artistic characteristics of Zhan Ziqian, Wu Daozi, Liang Kai, Huang Gongwang, Xu Wei, Dong Qichang, Wen Zhengming and other people, and outlined the local vein of Shanghai painting. In addition, the history of Western painting is analyzed from the representative works of Leonardo Da Vinci and Titian in the Renaissance, Rembrandt, Millay, Lepage, Cezanne, Van Gogh, Matisse, Kandinsky and other representative painters, and the connection between Shanghai painting and world art is sorted out.
Through the analysis of the representative works of the Four masters of Shanghai School in the late Qing Dynasty, the artistic exploration of Lin Fengmian and Wu Guanzhong in modern times, and the artistic creation experience of Xie Zhiliu, the master of Shanghai School, Ms. Song pointed out that Shanghai School painting is an art world with mixed styles, compatible with Chinese and Western, she is not a painting school with obvious style direction, but with the opening of Shanghai port, The new atmosphere produced by the integration of Chinese traditional culture and Western advanced civilization shows the indomitable tenacity of Chinese traditional culture and art in the face of great historical changes and the power of self-innovation. It is also a cultural phenomenon in the sense of sociology.
As one of the series of activities of the first Shanghai Cultural Experience Week of the School About Shanghai, through combing the origin and connotation of Shanghai painting, we explore the relationship between the formation of Shanghai culture and the development of Shanghai city.
