Autumn send cool, cinnamon fragrance, the annual Mid-Autumn Festival is approaching, in order to add festive atmosphere, carry forward the traditional Chinese culture, feel the charm of traditional culture, and cultivate students' practical ability, on the afternoon of September 22, 2023, the College of Ocean Science and Engineering Qingmeng Workshop carried out the Moon Department Mid-Autumn Festival · Cake commitment labor education activities, The students took an active part in the activity.
At the beginning of the activity, the uncles and aunts of Xidian Room brought out high-quality materials such as noodles, fillings and mooncake molds. The pastry master introduced the methods, skills and steps of making handmade mooncakes in detail to the students. According to the teachers' explanation and demonstration, the students kneaded the dough step by step, wrapped the filling, pressed the mold... With the fragrance, a small and delicate moon cake engraved with a rich meaning of the school emblem is freshly baked. Most of the students are trying to make moon cakes for the first time, learning both seriously and carefully, and mooncakes are done in a good way. Looking at the mooncakes made by their own hands, the students were overwhelmed with joy, and they took out their mobile phones to take pictures and record this beautiful moment.
Before the start of this activity, Liang Liang, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the Logistics Center, Shen Fang, deputy director of the Department of Food and Beverage Management, together with relevant staff, had a cordial discussion with some students who came to the canteen to experience mooncake making.
A moon cake is a piece of love. This mooncake making activity allowed the students to not only learn the craft of making mooncakes but also experience the fun of labor, but also feel the unique charm of the Mid-Autumn Festival, which enhanced the sense of identity and pride of traditional Chinese culture.
