On the afternoon of September 18, He Li, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai Maritime University, Wang Weiyi, Party secretary of the College of Ocean Science and Engineering, Dong Chaoqun, relevant leaders of School of Science, Xu Beihong Art Academy, School of Marxism, and all freshmen counselors came to the military training venue of the sixth Group to offer cordial condolences to the instructors and students who are being trained.
At the training ground, the leaders learned about the current progress of military training to the captain of the sixth Group, and also sent summer ice cream to the students. Secretary Wang Weiyi and Deputy Secretary Dong Chaoqun affirmed the spirit of not afraid of difficulties and insisting on training shown by the freshmen of our college, and encouraged all the 2023 students to continue to carry forward the spirit of hard work, cultivate patriotism, and at the same time, to temper their strong will and physical fitness in the future training, and actively show the youth style in the military training.
Through this condolence activity, the 2023 freshmen and instructors really felt the warm care of the school and the college, enhanced the sense of identity and belonging to the school, and also provided spiritual motivation for the last few days of hard military training life, I believe that the students will be able to give satisfactory answers to the military training task with the most full enthusiasm and the most tenacious perseverance.
