In order to speed up the implementation of organized scientific research, College of Ocean Science and Engineering held a meeting on the morning of January 6th to implement organized scientific research relying on the existing platform and achieve the level of team and platform construction. Wang Weiyi, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, Feng Daolun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President, and Guo Jiamin, deputy president attended the meeting. Leaders of all teams attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Professor Liu Tao introduced the current situation of Shanghai Far-reaching Offshore Equipment Materials Engineering Technology Research Center, and the leaders of various teams had active exchanges and discussions on the focus of scientific research direction, platform construction and cross-integration of teams.
President Feng Daolun pointed out that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the School will rely on the existing provincial and ministerial scientific research platform, focus on the major needs of the industry and region to strengthen the research direction of concentration, continue to promote the cross-integration of different professional research teams, and drive the higher quality development of scientific research of the school.
Wang Weiyi, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, pointed out that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, organized scientific research is the only way to promote the scientific research level of the college. Through organized scientific research, the college will realize the transformation of the team and platform from free growth to organized cultivation.
