In order to implement the requirements of the Asset and Laboratory Management Office and the Security Department for laboratory safety self-inspection, according to the indicators of the laboratory safety inspection item list (2002), on the afternoon of December 20, 2022, Wang Weiyi, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, led the safety inspection team of the college to carry out laboratory safety inspection on the Environmental and Safety Experiment Center, the Port, Navigation and Ship Experiment Center and the scientific Research Test center.
The overall inspection is in good condition, and the previous rectification problems have been implemented. In the process of inspection, Secretary Wang Weiyi affirmed the implementation of laboratory safety standard management, and especially emphasized that it is necessary to routinely inspect the laboratory with 24-hour continuous electricity equipment every day, to do a good job in protecting the waste liquid and solid that cannot be transported away in time, and the experimental supervisor of graduating class students must be present.
This laboratory safety inspection, further strengthen the laboratory safety management, enhance the safety responsibility consciousness of teachers and students. In the follow-up work, the school will continue to strengthen the laboratory safety management, to ensure the safe operation of the laboratory and the harmony and stability of the campus.
