At 18:00 on October 23, College of Ocean Science and Engineering undergraduate class 2020 officially launched the career guidance series education activities of Breaking the Wind and Setting Sail. Niu Lei, the instructor, brought the first lecture Dare to ask Where the road is to all students through the online meeting.
The counselor pointed out that the junior year is an extremely important year. After two years of accumulation, students should enter the state of thin hair and start to think about graduation and the destination of graduation. In this regard, the counselor put forward three suggestions to know themselves, understand the situation and understand the destination. To know yourself, we should face up to our strengths and weaknesses objectively and comprehensively, understand our career interests through career interest assessment, and have a clear understanding of what we want to do and what we can do. Understand the situation, in order to recognize that employment is the final way out, understand the employment market, employment direction, employment requirements. Knowing where to go requires students to broaden their horizons and make a good and coordinated choice between further study and employment.
For the students of Grade 20, the third year is a year to climb up, and it is also a year to create brilliant achievements and bloom the gorgeous flowers of youth. Through this theme education, students have a better grasp of understanding themselves and the situation, have a deeper thinking of the direction, and can certainly find out where the future road is.
