On December 21, the 2019 Shanghai Zhenghe Research Center Academic Annual Meeting was held on the Dongming Road campus of our university. More than 20 from Fudan University, Tongji University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai University, National University of Defense, Shanghai Normal University, Shanghai Ocean University, Shanghai Maritime University, Shanghai Urban Construction Vocational College, Wenhui Bao, Shanghai Wenguang Group and other units Scholars attended. The meeting was chaired by Professor Shi Ping, Deputy Director Zhu Jianqiu, Professor Zou Zhenhuan and Professor Shen Ruiying.
The participating scholars discussed the main achievements and development characteristics of Zheng He's research, new developments in Wang Jinghong's research, Zheng He's voyages to the Chinese ocean civilization, the value of "official factory" documents and historical materials in Chinese historical books, and Zheng He's overseas heritage research. And negotiated and arranged the work of the center next year. The annual conference focused on the construction of the center's talent team and strengthened the center's cohesion, which attracted widespread attention from the academic circles of Zheng He.
